We are thrilled to announce the release of a collaborative blend between Breaux Vineyards, 868 Estate Vineyards, Hillsborough Vineyards, and Two Twisted Posts Winery, all wineries on the Loudoun Wine Trail and members of the Loudoun Heights Agritourism Council.

The Loudoun Heights Agritourism Council is committed to telling the story of Northern Loudoun County with the release of its second collaborative wine, the 2020 Valle Tranquilo. This bold red blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat is a full-bodied wine, perfect for enjoying this winter or for cellaring for enjoyment in years to come.
Breaux Vineyards, Notaviva, Bozzo family Vineyards, Hillsborough Winery & Brewery, 868 Estate Vineyards, Maggie Malicks Wine Cave, Doukenie Winery, and Two Twisted Posts Winery each brought a barrel of single-varietal, estate-grown wine from their 2020 vintage to Hillsborough Winery where the four winemakers tasted the wines and experimented with different blends to create the 2020 Valle Tranquilo.
One hundred and ninety two cases of the 2020 Valle Tranquilo will be released to the Tasting Rooms at Breaux Vineyards on Februaury 5th, with a special release day on February 12th where we will meet the chosen artist who designed the label. The wine will retail for $38.
A portion of the proceeds from wine sales will support future initiatives of the LHATC raising funds for local charitable causes.

The Loudoun Heights Agritourism Council is a not-for-profit business league that’s purpose is to promote the marketing, sale, purchase and use of farm-based or rural products and services and to improve business conditions for farm-based and rural businesses.
Members of the LHATC include 868 Estate Vineyards, Bozzo Family Vineyards, Breaux Vineyards, Doukenie Winery, Hillsborough Winery and Brewery, Kalero Vineyards and Event Venue, Maggie Malick’s Wine Caves, Notaviva Craft Fermentations, and Two Twisted Posts Winery.
Each of these venues provides a unique experience, both indoors and outdoors, with many family friendly and four-legged friendly options to choose from.
