"The dark cherry and chocolate scented 2002 Merlot Reserve was produced from a special selection of fruit identified during fermentation by winemaker, Dave Collins. Following fermentation, the wine was stored in new French oak barrels for about 30 months. The wine is beautifully tailored silky smooth medium bodied with rich ripe berry fruit, a sweet oak and vanilla rich frame, polished tannins, and a long, very long finish. This wine can be expected to age gracefully for a decade, but you won’t want to wait that long to drink it."
